Quartz App Reviews

I have been looking for a good news app.. Just found it!

I have been looking for a good news app that doesnt waste a lot of screen space on articles Im not interested in and there is a lot of then... You know what Im saying. This app is a breath of fresh air. It lists news for subject areas you select not what boots Garth Brooks wore at the CMA awards. It gives you a quick read of the news in a short sentence or two. If you want to read more, the app sends you to the source of the article. Like others have said, "Its like having a conversation with someone about the news" I love it. It is the first app I open every morning and several times a day to keep up and see whats going on here and the rest of the world.

Good by me.

It could be better, I guess, but I dont know how and dont spend time thinking about it. Quartz app gives me some interesting news to know so I can keep somewhat in tune with whats going on. I can read more through the links if I want, and sometimes I do, but I feel connected finally to the news in a way I havent gotten from the 13 other news apps on my iPhone that I dont use (although I always intended to). I use Quartz daily. And really like the format and content...

Conversational but needs customization

I love this app! Ive been looking everywhere for something like this so thank you! Its beautiful UI and conversational style is amazing. I just wish I was able to customize the news to my preferences. For example, I love the market break down and breaking news but I would also like to know whats hot in tech or whats the latest Warriors score. Customization is key. But overall love what youre doing here. Keep growing!

Really fun and unique news app

I really enjoy this app! I check it daily. It gets a variety of news sent to you and you can easily dismiss articles you dont want more information on. If it intrigues you reply and itll expand on it. Always links to articles even outside of Quartz. Love it!

AWESOME

A really awesome app. There is nothing wrong with it that I can tell. Great job, Devs!! (:

Horrible UI

I dont want to text someone to get the news. Its a horrible UI paradigm. I just want to quickly browse the stories and read the ones I care about. Not sure who thought this was a good idea.

Two thumbs up!

I love it!

Nice app

But what if I miss a headline that seemed interesting, but didnt get a chance to get the details?

Super cool

For sure

Just Opened the App. What the ...,

Hey authors! Im an adult. Just opened the app for the first time and set up looks like something from Sesame Street. Unbelievable... Raise the age level, please. Please.

Crashes my phone

I have to say that I really like everything about the app. HOWEVER EVERY TIME I TRY TO USE IT AFTER HAVING ABOUT 2 HOURS WITHOUT USING IT, MY PHONE CRASHES AND RESTARTS ITSELF.

Pretty cool app! Really like the setup

Love it!

The best news app out there. Funny and reliable :) emoji game strong

Not enough news

I love this app but it fails frequently to inform major news. It gives you 5-8 news per day which is not enough to and there is no way to increase this. It also prioritizes coachella news to major deadly earthquakes.

Love it!

Unique and effective. Best combination to make a great app and this app is nothing short of excellent!

Makes news fun and interesting

Really innovative approach to presenting news in a conversational style. Great

Kudos to Quartz

There are plenty of sources of deep insight into news events, and this is not one of them. However, the chatbot-like interface is an addictive, fun way to explore some of whats happening in the day. Happy to have it on my home screen.

A charming, informative platform.

This is an impressively curated "breaking" news app that intuitively ladders headlines, brief toplines & full article links not just to Quartz but also to other sources. Weirdly, Im also learning better emoji usage & etiquette thru this app. For example, "

Best most interactive news app. Engaging and informative, total new fave, love what theyre doing here.
